December is a time filled with excitement and anticipation, but at Carmel New Church School, it is also a time to prepare hearts for the true meaning of Christmas. Amid decorations, songs, and special activities, our students are guided to reflect on the gift of the Lord’s birth and how that light shines in our lives today.

Each classroom takes time to celebrate in meaningful ways—through crafts, songs, service projects, and chapel worship. These traditions help us slow down and remember that Christmas is about love, hope, and joy.

In the midst of the busyness of the season, we encourage families to create quiet moments together to share in prayer, gratitude, and reflection. Just as our students are preparing their hearts at school, we hope families will feel inspired to do the same at home.

Reflection Question for Families:
“What is one way we can share the spirit of Christmas with someone else this week?”
