Admissions Process
Thank you for your interest in enrolling your child at Carmel New Church School, in Kitchener ON
We have a very simple 5-step Admissions Process that will help you determine if CNCS is a good fit for you and your child.
Step 2: Join the Waitlist
Following the tour, families who wish to continue in the process are added to our waitlist.
All prospective students begin on the waitlist while we finalize enrollment numbers, including sibling priority and returning families.
Please note: Being on the waitlist does not guarantee placement, but it ensures your family will be considered as spaces become available.
Step 3: Availability & Family meeting
If a space becomes available, families are invited to a family meeting.
This meeting includes:
- A deeper conversation about your child and family
- Review of Carmel’s Core Benefits and educational approach
- Viewing of our Core Benefits video
- Time to ask questions and ensure alignment
This step helps ensure CNCS is the right fit for both the family and the school.
Step 4: Acceptance & Next Step
If a space is offered, families receive a formal acceptance letter outlining next steps, timelines, and enrollment details.
A note about enrollment timing
Enrollment availability is typically confirmed later in the winter or early spring, once returning families and sibling enrollment are finalized. We appreciate your patience during this process and remain committed to clear, timely communication.
