April is a wonderful time to reflect on growth—not just academically, but spiritually and personally. At Carmel New Church School, faith and community are at the heart of everything we do. Students participate in daily worship in their classrooms and gather twice a week for chapel, creating opportunities to grow in faith, character, and fellowship.
Our chapel sessions are especially memorable. Children join together in song, prayer, and reflection, often with Pastor Mark leading our students in joyful worship. These moments teach students the value of community and the importance of supporting one another, while reinforcing Christian principles like kindness, compassion, and gratitude.
In classrooms, teachers continue to nurture character and spiritual growth alongside academic learning. Students engage in discussions about honesty, responsibility, and helping others, learning that living their faith means showing love and respect in every action. These lessons go beyond the classroom—they are a guide for everyday life.
Families are a vital part of this journey. Encouraging children to reflect on their actions, discuss values, and participate in faith-based activities at home strengthens the partnership between school and family. At CNCS, we celebrate every small step in a child’s spiritual growth and character development, knowing that each act of kindness and reflection builds a strong foundation for the future.
This April, we invite families to engage with our community through shared faith and fellowship. Join us at school events, support your child’s learning at home, and celebrate the small and large ways our students grow in faith and character every day.
